Privacy Policy
The tasks you type in YOBIOKO and your morning records are saved only on your device and are not sent to the operator's servers. Google and Apple may handle information in order to show ads and process purchases.
1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Hugbit (the “Operator”) handles user information in the following services (the “Service”).
- The app “YOBIOKO” (iPhone and Android)
- The website “yobioko.net” (including the 16 Morning Types test)
2. Operator

3. Information we handle and how we use it
(1) Information you enter in the app
Your tasks, alarm times, daily typing records (score, speed, accuracy, 16 types and so on) and app settings are saved only on your device. They are not sent to the Operator's servers. The Operator cannot see the tasks you type.
(2) Alarms and notifications
Alarms and reminder notifications are scheduled on your device using the iOS and Android systems. The contents of these schedules are not sent outside your device.
(3) Information you enter in the test on the website
The text you type and the measured results in the test are processed only in your browser and are not sent to the Operator's servers.
(4) Inquiries
If you contact us by email, we use your email address and the content of your inquiry only to reply.
4. Ads
The Service uses Google's advertising services to show ads in the parts that are free to use (app: Google AdMob; website: Google AdSense). Ads are not shown in the app while you use Premium.
Google may collect and use information such as the following to deliver ads, measure their results and prevent fraud.
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iPhone, advertising ID on Android)
- IP address, device and OS type, language and approximate region (estimated from the IP address)
- Records of actions such as ad views and taps, and usage of the app and website
- Cookies on the website
You can turn off interest-based (personalized) ads as follows.
- iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads (delete advertising ID)
- Website: Google Ads Settings, www.aboutads.info
In the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and similar regions, a screen asking for your consent to ads is shown the first time you open the app, as required by law. For how Google handles information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
5. Purchases
Payments for Premium (a monthly subscription) are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The Operator never receives payment information such as credit card details.
To check whether Premium is active, the app receives purchase and renewal status from the App Store or Google Play (this check is done on your device). On Android, to prevent fraudulent purchases, a randomly generated identifier for each device (which contains no information that identifies you) is sent to Google Play.
6. Third-party services
The Operator does not provide user information to third parties except where required by law. The Service uses the following third-party services.
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google AdMob / Google AdSense | Showing ads (Google Privacy Policy) |
| Google User Messaging Platform | Asking for ad consent (EEA and similar regions) |
| Apple App Store | App distribution and purchase processing (Apple Privacy Policy) |
| Google Play | App distribution and purchase processing (Google Privacy Policy) |
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13.
8. Retention and deletion
Data saved on your device is erased when you choose Settings → “Delete all data” in the app, or when you delete (uninstall) the app. Because nothing is saved on the Operator's servers, there is nothing for the Operator to delete. Inquiry emails are kept only for as long as needed after we have replied.
9. Changes
This policy may be revised when laws or the Service change. If there is a major change, we will announce it on this page or in the app.
